ABOUT ME

I go by NOVER. I’m a South Bronx artist who came up through graffiti and built my own lane around abstract explosion work. I’ve been painting for over 25 years, starting as a graffiti writer hitting walls all over New York with several crews, and growing that into canvases, digital pieces, apparel, and large-scale installs.

Over the years my work has shown up in places like Hypebeast, Bombing Science, Art Crimes, Copic Website, Monokrome, Flashback magazine, and a few international graffiti books, but the core has always been the same: sharp, technical explosions rooted in movement, color and energy. I’ve brought that style into hotels, lobbies, and public spaces, including projects like The Ridge Hotel in Manhattan, Roosevelt Island, and Lackawanna Plaza in New Jersey, along with private collections in New York, New Jersey, California, Colorado, Florida, and beyond.

I’ve also worked on collaborations with brands like Timberland, Puma, New Era, and Paper Planes, plus my own limited-run NOVER tees that sold out. On the digital side, I design my own graphics, layouts, and visuals, and I’ve created artwork and concepts for brands and projects that live online as much as they do on walls and canvas. Whether it’s a wall, a canvas, a lobby, or a screen, I’m always chasing the same thing: impact on first sight, and details that keep you looking.

Right now I’m focused on building out larger abstract explosion works, getting them into the right galleries and curated shows, and lining up collaborations where my style can live next to established names.
Over the next few years, the goal is to reach a broader audience, grow my presence in respected gallery spaces, and let the work travel a lot further than where it started.
